Diy Target Stand

A DIY target stand is a simple and inexpensive way to set up your own shooting range at home. To make one, you will need two 8-foot 2x4s, a drill, screws, and a saw. Cut the 2x4s into the following pieces:

• 2 pieces at 18 inches each
• 2 pieces at 12 inches each
• 2 pieces at 6 inches each

Assemble the stand by screwing the 18-inch pieces together to form a base. Then, screw the 12-inch pieces to the top of the base, one on each side. Finally, screw the 6-inch pieces to the front and back of the stand, connecting the top and bottom pieces.

You can use your DIY target stand to hold a variety of targets, such as paper targets, steel targets, or even cardboard boxes. To hang a paper target, simply use a staple gun or tape to attach it to the front of the stand. To hang a steel target, drill a hole in the top of the target and use a screw to attach it to the stand. To hang a cardboard box, simply place it on the ground in front of the stand and prop it up against the 6-inch pieces.

Once your target is in place, you are ready to start shooting! Be sure to always follow all safety precautions when shooting, and never shoot at anything that you are not willing to destroy.
