5. Sew the gap at the top closed.

2. Sew the two pieces of fabric together along three of the sides, leaving the top side open.
3. Turn the hammock right-side out and push out the corners.

5. Sew a topstitch along the folded edge to create a casing.
6. Thread a cord through the casing and tie it in a knot at each end.
7. Hang the hammock from two sturdy hooks in your child’s bedroom.
