Thor Costume Diy

To make a DIY Thor costume, you will need:

• A red cape (a red bedsheet works well)
• A blue muscle shirt
• Blue jeans
• Brown boots
• A leather belt
• Craft foam for the chest piece, vambraces, and helmet
• Silver and gray spray paint
• Hot glue gun

For the chest piece, cut out a large rectangle of craft foam and spray paint it silver. Then, cut out smaller rectangles of craft foam and spray paint them gray. Glue the gray rectangles onto the silver rectangle to create a design that resembles Thor’s chest armor.

For the vambraces, cut out two long strips of craft foam and spray paint them silver. Then, glue them around your forearms.

For the helmet, you can use a pre-made Viking helmet or make your own out of craft foam. If you are using a pre-made helmet, remove the horns and spray paint it silver. If you are making your own helmet, cut out two large half-circles of craft foam and glue them together. Then, cut out a strip of craft foam for the brim and glue it around the bottom of the helmet.

To complete the costume, put on the cape, muscle shirt, jeans, boots, and belt. Then, put on the chest piece, vambraces, and helmet.

You can also make Thor’s hammer, Mjolnir, out of craft foam. To do this, cut out a large rectangle of craft foam for the head of the hammer and a smaller rectangle of craft foam for the handle. Spray paint both rectangles silver. Then, glue the handle to the head of the hammer.

Once your costume is complete, you are ready to become the God of Thunder!
