Statue of Liberty Costume DIY
To make a Statue of Liberty costume DIY, you will need:
- A long green robe or bedsheet
- A green scarf
- A cardboard crown
- A cardboard torch
- Silver spray paint
- Green and white felt
- Scissors
- Hot glue gun
Instructions:
- Cut the cardboard crown and torch into shape.
- Spray paint the crown and torch silver.
- Cut green felt flames for the torch and glue them on.
- Cut white felt stars for the crown and glue them on.
- Wrap the robe or bedsheet around your body and tie it in place with the scarf.
- Place the crown on your head and the torch in your hand.
Optional:
- You can add a blue face mask to your costume.
- You can also add a Statue of Liberty necklace or bracelet.
Tips:
- If you don’t have green felt, you can use other colors, such as blue or white.
- If you don’t have a hot glue gun, you can use regular glue, but it may take longer to dry.
- If you’re making the costume for a child, you may want to use smaller pieces of cardboard for the crown and torch.
