Penguin Costume Diy

Materials:

• Black fabric (fleece, felt, or other soft fabric)
• White fabric (fleece, felt, or other soft fabric)
• Yellow fabric (felt or other soft fabric)
• Stuffing (cotton balls, polyester stuffing, or other soft material)
• Elastic (for waistband and hat)
• Sewing machine or needle and thread
• Scissors
• Pins

Instructions:

1. Cut out the following pieces from the black fabric:
   • Two penguin body pieces (front and back)
   • Two penguin wing pieces
   • One penguin belly piece
2. Sew the penguin body pieces together, leaving an opening at the top for the head.
3. Sew the penguin wing pieces together and stuff them.
4. Sew the penguin belly piece to the front of the penguin body.
5. Cut out two circles from the yellow fabric for the penguin’s feet.
6. Sew the yellow circles together, leaving a small opening at the bottom.
7. Stuff the penguin feet and sew the opening closed.
8. Sew the penguin feet to the bottom of the penguin body.
9. Cut out a strip of fabric for the penguin’s hat.
10. Sew the ends of the fabric strip together to form a loop.
11. Turn the penguin hat right side out and stuff it.
12. Sew an elastic band to the bottom of the penguin hat.
13. Put on the penguin costume and enjoy!

Tips:

• If you don’t have a sewing machine, you can sew the penguin costume by hand.
• You can use any color fabric you want for the penguin’s belly and feet.
• To make the penguin costume more comfortable to wear, you can sew a lining to the inside of the body piece.
• You can also add other details to the penguin costume, such as a beak, eyes, and a scarf.
