Life Size Jenga Diy

Life size Jenga DIY is a fun and easy project that can be done with basic tools and materials. To make your own life size Jenga set, you will need:

5 – 2" x 3" x 8′ boards
1 – 1" x 8" x 10′ board (optional for carrying crate)
Scrap piece of 4" x 4" post (optional for dice)
Sandpaper
26 – 1 1/4" wood screws (optional for carrying crate)
Wood glue (optional for carrying crate)
2 – drawer handles (optional for carrying crate)
Paint/stain (optional)
Paint brush (optional)

Instructions:

Cut the 2" x 3" boards into 48 pieces, each 10 1/2" long.
Sand each piece until smooth.
If desired, paint or stain the Jenga pieces.
To make a carrying crate for your Jenga set, cut the 1" x 8" board into four pieces: two 15" long and two 18" long. Assemble the crate using the wood screws and wood glue.
To make dice for your Jenga set, cut a cube out of the 4" x 4" post. Paint each side of the cube a different color, with one side remaining natural wood.

Once your Jenga set is complete, you are ready to play! To start a game, stack the Jenga pieces into a tower, alternating three pieces per layer with the grain perpendicular. Players take turns removing one piece at a time from anywhere in the tower, except for the top two layers. If a player knocks over the tower, the game is over and that player loses.
