To make a DIY Hermione costume, you will need:
- White button-down shirt
- Black or gray skirt
- Gray or black vest
- Gryffindor tie
- Black or brown shoes
- Knee-high socks
- Wizard’s robe (optional)
- Wand (optional)
- Hogwarts scarf (optional)
- Hermione’s hair (optional)
Instructions:
- Put on the white button-down shirt and skirt.
- Add the vest and tie.
- If desired, put on the robe over the vest and tie.
- Put on the black or brown shoes and knee-high socks.
- If desired, add the Hogwarts scarf and Hermione’s hair.
- Carry a wand if desired.
Tips:
- If you don’t have a wizard’s robe, you can use a black or gray bathrobe or trench coat.
- You can make a Gryffindor tie by cutting a triangle out of a piece of red fabric and sewing a gold stripe down the middle.
- You can buy Hermione’s hair at a costume store or make it yourself by braiding your own hair and adding brown yarn or extensions.
- If you’re going to be wearing the costume for a long time, you may want to wear comfortable shoes.
