Diy Wood Plank Wall

To make a DIY wood plank wall, you will need:

Wood planks (any type of wood will work, but pine is a good option for beginners)
Stud finder
Level
Miter saw
Nail gun or hammer and nails
Stain or paint (optional)

Steps:

Mark the stud locations on the wall using a stud finder.
Cut the wood planks to size using a miter saw.
Start at the bottom of the wall and nail the first plank in place, making sure it is level.
Continue nailing up the planks, staggering the seams so that they do not line up directly on top of each other.
Once all of the planks are in place, stain or paint them as desired.

Tips:

If you are using tongue-and-groove planks, you will not need to stagger the seams.
If you are using reclaimed wood, you may want to sand it down before painting or staining it.
To create a more rustic look, you can leave the wood unfinished.
