DIY Window Clings
Materials:
- Washable school glue
- Liquid dish soap
- Food coloring
- Plastic wrap or plastic sheet protector
- Cookie cutters, stencils, or coloring sheets (optional)
Instructions:
- Mix 2 tablespoons of glue and 1/4 teaspoon of dish soap in a small bowl.
- Add 3 to 5 drops of food coloring and stir until well mixed.
- Secure a piece of plastic wrap or plastic sheet protector to a flat surface.
- Paint your desired design onto the plastic using the glue mixture. You can use a paintbrush, or apply the glue directly from the bottle.
- If you are using cookie cutters, stencils, or coloring sheets, place them under the plastic and trace the designs with the glue mixture.
- Allow the glue to dry completely, about 8 to 10 hours.
- Carefully peel the window cling from the plastic and adhere it to your window.
Tips:
- For more vibrant colors, use more food coloring.
- To make your window clings thicker, apply more layers of glue.
- To add glitter, sprinkle it over the glue before it dries.
- If you make a mistake, simply wipe it away with a damp cloth.
- To remove your window clings, simply peel them off the window.
