DIY Tissue Paper Pom Poms
Materials:
- Tissue paper (any color or combination of colors)
- Curling ribbon or string
- Scissors
Instructions:
- Stack 8-12 sheets of tissue paper together.
- Accordion-fold the stack of tissue paper into 2-inch pleats.
- Tie a piece of curling ribbon or string tightly around the center of the folded tissue paper.
- Trim the ends of the tissue paper into a rounded or pointed shape.
- Gently pull the layers of tissue paper apart to create a fluffy pom-pom.
- Hang the pom-pom from the curling ribbon or string.
Tips:
- Use more sheets of tissue paper for a fuller pom-pom.
- Use different colors of tissue paper to create a multicolor pom-pom.
- To make a hanging loop, tie the curling ribbon or string in a loop before trimming the ends of the tissue paper.
- You can also use floral wire to secure the center of the pom-pom, instead of curling ribbon or string.
