To make DIY tassel earrings, you will need:
- Embroidery floss or yarn in your desired colors
- Scissors
- Jewelry pliers
- Earring hooks
- Jump rings
- End caps (optional)
Instructions:
- Cut a piece of embroidery floss or yarn about 120 times longer than the desired length of your tassel.
- Wrap the floss or yarn around a piece of cardboard about 1 inch wide.
- Cut the floss or yarn at the bottom of the cardboard.
- Slide a jump ring onto the top of the floss or yarn bundle.
- Fold the bundle in half and tie a tight knot around the jump ring.
- Trim the ends of the tassel to even them out.
- If desired, apply a small amount of fabric glue to the inside of an end cap and slide it over the top of the tassel.
- Attach the earring hook to the jump ring.
- Repeat steps 1-8 to make a second earring.
