Diy Stained Glass Window

To make a DIY stained glass window, you will need:

• Glass in different colors and shapes
• Lead came (strips of lead that hold the glass pieces together)
• Glass cutter
• Soldering iron
• Solder
• Flux
• Glass paint
• Cement

Instructions:

1. Design your stained glass window and draw it on paper.
2. Cut the glass pieces to size using a glass cutter.
3. Wrap the lead came around the edges of the glass pieces.

Faux stained glass:
A faux stained glass window can be made using a variety of materials, such as:

• Lead adhesive strips
• Contact paper
• Window film

Instructions:

1. Clean the window surface thoroughly.
2. Apply a thin coat of glass paint to the inside of the window.
3. Allow the glass paint to dry completely.
4. Apply lead adhesive strips to the outside of the window, following the design of your stained glass window.
5. Allow the lead adhesive strips to dry completely.
6. Cut out the design of your stained glass window from contact paper or window film.
7. Apply the contact paper or window film to the inside of the window, over the lead adhesive strips.
8. Trim any excess contact paper or window film.
