To make a DIY solar system model, you will need:
- A cardboard box
- Styrofoam balls in various sizes
- Paint
- Clay
- Thread
- Hot glue gun
Instructions:
- Paint the cardboard box black to represent space.
- Paint the Styrofoam balls to represent the planets.
- Shape the clay into small balls to represent the asteroids and moons.
- Use the thread and hot glue gun to suspend the planets and asteroids in the cardboard box.
- Don’t forget to add the sun!

- Glue the planets to the cardboard box in the correct order.
- Add stars and other decorations as desired.
