Diy Snowman Ornaments

To make a DIY snowman ornament, you will need:

• White socks (baby socks are a good size)
• Foam balls (two different sizes)
• String or twine
• Fabric or felt for the scarf and hat
• Glue gun or quick dry tacky glue
• Scissors
• Other decorations for the snowman’s face and body (optional)

Instructions:

1. Cut off the toe of the sock.
2. Place the larger foam ball inside the sock and push it all the way down to the toe.
3. Add the smaller foam ball to the sock and push it all the way down.
4. Twist the top of the sock above the foam balls nice and tight, then fold the top down over the foam ball to make a hat for the snowman.
5. Wrap a small piece of string or twine around the snowman’s neck and tie it tightly in the back. Trim the loose string ends.
6. Cut a thin strip of fabric or felt to make a scarf. Use glue to attach the scarf around the snowman’s neck.
7. Glue a matching colored pom pom to the top of the snowman’s hat to finish him off.
8. Add other decorations to the snowman’s face and body, such as googly eyes, a carrot nose, and buttons (optional).
9. Tie a piece of string or twine to the top of the snowman’s hat for hanging.
