To make DIY scented candles, you will need soy wax flakes, candle wicks, fragrance or essential oils, and heat-resistant containers.
Melt the soy wax in a double boiler over low heat. Once melted, add the fragrance or essential oils and stir to combine.
Anchor the wicks to the bottom of the containers using wax dots or wick stickers.
Pour the melted wax into the containers, leaving about 1/4 inch of space at the top.
Let the candles cool and harden completely before trimming the wicks to 1/4 inch.
