How to Build a DIY Round Coffee Table

Materials:

• Wood for the tabletop and base (plywood, solid wood, etc.)
• Wood glue
• Screws
• Nails
• Saw
• Drill
• Router (optional)
• Sander
• Finish of your choice (stain, paint, polyurethane, etc.)

Instructions:

1. Cut the tabletop and base to size.
2. If using plywood, use a router to cut a circle for the tabletop.
3. Sand the tabletop and base.
4. Apply glue to the edges of the tabletop and base, and clamp them together until the glue dries.
5. Attach the tabletop and base with screws or nails.
6. Apply your chosen finish to the coffee table.

Tips:

• If you don’t have a router, you can cut the tabletop circle with a compass and a jigsaw.
• When gluing the tabletop and base, make sure to use a strong wood glue and clamp them together tightly.
• If you’re using screws, pre-drill the holes to avoid splitting the wood.
• If you’re using paint, be sure to apply two coats for even coverage.
