DIY Rope Rug

Materials:

• thick rope in desired color
• felt cut into a circle (optional)
• scissors
• heavy-duty construction adhesive
• painter’s tape (optional)
• silicone paint (optional)

Instructions:

1. Coil the rope on a flat surface, starting from the center.
2. Secure the coil with glue or painter’s tape.
3. Continue coiling the rope until the rug reaches your desired size.
4. Cut off the excess rope.
5. (Optional) Glue a felt circle to the bottom of the rug to prevent slipping.
6. (Optional) Paint the rug with silicone paint for a more durable finish.
7. Let the rug dry completely before using.

Tips:

• Use a thick rope for a more durable rug.
• If you’re using a felt circle, make sure it’s slightly larger than the rug so that the edges are hidden.
• Be careful not to over-glue the rug, as this can make it difficult to coil the rope tightly.
• If you’re painting the rug, make sure to use a silicone paint that is designed for outdoor use.
