Diy Propane Fire Pit

DIY propane fire pit is a great way to add ambiance and warmth to your outdoor space. It is relatively easy to build and can be done with basic tools and materials.

To build a DIY propane fire pit, you will need:

• Fire pit pan and burner kit
• Lava rocks
• Propane tank
• Decorative tank cover
• Gas range supply line
• Hose clamps
• Gas rated teflon tape
• Sand
• Landscaping adhesive
• Stone blocks or pavers (optional)

Instructions:

1. Choose a location for your fire pit. It should be on a flat, level surface and away from any combustible materials.
2. Dig a trench for the propane tubing. The trench should be deep enough to bury the tubing below the frost line.
3. Cut the PVC pipe to length and run it through the trench.
4. Fill in the trench with sand and tamp it down.
5. Connect the propane tank to the gas range supply line and then connect the supply line to the fire pit burner.
6. Place the fire pit pan in the desired location and fill it with lava rocks.
7. Place the decorative tank cover over the propane tank.
8. Light the fire pit and enjoy!

If you want to add a more permanent touch to your fire pit, you can build a stone or paver base. To do this, simply lay out the stones or pavers in a circle and then use landscaping adhesive to secure them in place.

Once the base is dry, you can place the fire pit pan on top and fill it with lava rocks. Then, connect the propane tank and gas range supply line and you’re ready to go!
