Diy Pond Waterfall

To build a DIY pond waterfall, you will need:

• A preformed pond liner or flexible pond liner
• Submersible pump
• Tubing to connect the pump to the waterfall
• Large plastic flower pot or similar container to house the tubing
• Rigid pond liner (optional)
• Sand
• 4 x 3 foot black plastic liner (optional)
• Rocks

Instructions:

1. Choose a location for your pond and waterfall. The location should be level and well-drained.
2. Dig a hole for the pond. The hole should be slightly larger than the pond liner.
3. Place the pond liner in the hole. Smooth out the liner and make sure there are no wrinkles.
4. Add sand to the bottom of the pond to help protect the liner.
5. Place the submersible pump in the pond.
6. Connect the tubing to the pump and run it over the side of the pond to the waterfall.
7. Build the waterfall using rocks. You can use a variety of rock sizes and shapes to create a unique look.
8. Place the rigid pond liner (if using) around the base of the waterfall to help contain the water.
9. Place the black plastic liner (if using) over the rigid pond liner and tuck it under the rocks.
10. Add rocks to the top of the waterfall to hide the tubing and liner.
11. Fill the pond with water.
12. Turn on the pump and enjoy your new pond waterfall!

Tips:

• If you are using a flexible pond liner, be careful not to overstretch it. This can damage the liner and cause it to leak.
• If you are building a large waterfall, you may need to use a more powerful pump.
• You can add plants and fish to your pond, but be sure to choose varieties that are suitable for pond life.
• Clean your pond and waterfall regularly to keep the water clean and healthy.
