DIY Minnie Mouse Ears

Materials:

• Felt (black, white, and red)
• Headband
• Scissors
• Hot glue gun
• Paper and pencil (optional)

Instructions:

1. Trace two circles of the same size onto paper. These will be the templates for your ears.
2. Cut out the templates.
3. Place the templates on the black felt and trace around them. Cut out the ear shapes.
4. Repeat step 3 with the white felt, but make the circles slightly smaller than the black ones.
5. Place a black ear shape on top of a white ear shape. Add a dab of hot glue to the center of the white ear shape and press the two pieces together.
6. Repeat step 5 with the other ear shapes.
7. Once the ears are dry, place them on the headband and glue them in place.
8. Cut out a small rectangle of red felt for the bow.
9. Fold the rectangle in half lengthwise and then in half again.
10. Pinch the center of the bow and secure it with a dab of hot glue.
11. Glue the bow to the top of the headband.

Tips:

• For a no-sew version, you can use fabric glue instead of a hot glue gun.
• You can also use different colors of felt to make your ears more unique.
• If you want to add a little more sparkle, you can glue on some sequins or rhinestones.
