Diy Laminate Paper

To DIY laminate paper, you will need:

• Clear contact paper
• Scissors
• Iron (optional)

Instructions:

1. Cut a piece of clear contact paper slightly larger than the paper you want to laminate.
2. Place the clear contact paper on a flat surface, sticky side up.
3. Center the paper you want to laminate on top of the clear contact paper.
4. Carefully peel back the backing from the clear contact paper and smooth it down over the paper, removing any air bubbles as you go.
5. If desired, you can trim the excess clear contact paper from the edges of the paper.
6. To make the laminate more durable, you can iron it on a low setting. Be sure to place a piece of parchment paper between the iron and the laminate to prevent the laminate from sticking to the iron.

Tips:

• For a more professional look, use self-adhesive laminating pouches. These pouches are specially designed to be used with a laminator, but they can also be used without a laminator by following the instructions above.
• If you are laminating a large piece of paper, it is helpful to have an assistant to help you smooth out the contact paper and remove any air bubbles.
• Be careful not to overheat the laminate when ironing, as this can cause it to melt or wrinkle.
