DIY iPad stylus:
Materials:
- Pen
- Q-tip
- Aluminum foil
- Tape
- Scissors
Instructions:
- Remove the ink cartridge from the pen.
- Cut the cotton swab end off of the Q-tip.
- Insert the cotton swab end into the pen tip.
- Wrap the pen in aluminum foil, making sure that the cotton swab end is covered.
- Secure the aluminum foil in place with tape.
Your DIY iPad stylus is now ready to use!
Tips:
- If your pen has a plastic casing, you may need to cover it with electrical tape before wrapping it in aluminum foil. This will help to prevent the aluminum foil from scratching the pen.
- You can adjust the length of the cotton swab end to suit your needs. If you want a more precise stylus, use a shorter cotton swab end.
- If you find that your stylus is not working properly, try adjusting the amount of aluminum foil that you have wrapped around the pen. Too much or too little aluminum foil can interfere with the stylus’s conductivity.
