DIY Indoor Rabbit Cage
Materials:
- Wood or wire mesh
- Hardware cloth
- Hinges and latches
- Non-toxic paint (optional)
- Tools for cutting and assembling the cage
Instructions:
- Cut the wood or wire mesh to size for the walls, floor, and roof of the cage.
- Attach the hardware cloth to the bottom of the cage to prevent the rabbit from escaping.
- Assemble the cage using hinges and latches.
- Paint the cage with non-toxic paint (optional).
Tips:
- Make sure the cage is large enough for your rabbit to move around comfortably. The minimum recommended size for a rabbit cage is 36 inches long by 24 inches wide by 18 inches high.
- Include a hiding place in the cage for your rabbit to feel safe.
- Provide your rabbit with fresh hay, water, and food daily.
- Clean the cage regularly to prevent the build-up of bacteria.
