To build a DIY hot tub cover, you will need:
- 2-inch thick polystyrene foam boards
- Heavy-duty adhesive
- Plywood boards
- Heavy-duty plastic
- Exterior paint for wood
- 2-4-foot continuous hinges and screws
Instructions:
- Measure your hot tub and cut the foam boards to size.
- Wrap the foam boards in heavy-duty plastic.
- Glue the foam boards to the plywood boards using heavy-duty adhesive.
- Paint the plywood boards with exterior paint.
- Install the hinges on the plywood boards.
Once the cover is complete, simply place it on top of your hot tub and enjoy!
