To make a DIY fringe shirt, you will need a shirt, fabric scissors, and a fabric marker or crayon.
- Put on the shirt and mark where you want the fringe to start with a fabric marker or crayon.
- Take the shirt off and lay it flat on a table.
- Use a ruler to draw a straight line across the shirt at the mark you made in step 1.
- Use fabric scissors to cut vertical lines in 1/2-inch intervals along the line you drew in step 3. Stop cutting when you reach the bottom of the shirt.
- Pull on each fringe strip to stretch it out.
- If you want to decorate your fringe shirt, you can add beads, sequins, or other embellishments.
