To make a DIY dry erase board, you will need:
- A smooth, non-porous surface, such as a white board, melamine sheet, or glass
- Dry erase marker
- Optional: frame, mounting hardware
Instructions:
- Clean the surface with a damp cloth to remove any dust or dirt.
- If using a frame, cut the surface to size and fit it into the frame.
- Mount the board to the wall or other desired location using mounting hardware.
- Write on the board with a dry erase marker.
- To erase, wipe the board with a dry cloth or paper towel.
Tips:
- If using a non-white surface, you can paint it white with a dry erase paint kit.
- To make a small, portable dry erase board, you can use a piece of white cardstock or a plastic report cover. Tape the edges of the surface with washi tape to prevent it from fraying.
- To make a magnetic dry erase board, paint a steel sheet with white dry erase paint.
