To make a DIY bench cushion, you will need:
- Plywood or MDF base
- Upholstery foam
- Batting
- Fabric
- Spray adhesive
- Staple gun
Instructions:
- Cut the plywood or MDF base to the size of your bench.
- Cut the upholstery foam to the size of the plywood base.
- Cut the batting to the size of the plywood base, plus a few inches overhang on all sides.
- Spray adhesive onto the top of the plywood base and attach the batting.
- Lay the upholstery foam on top of the batting.
- Lay the fabric on top of the upholstery foam, with the right side facing up.
- Fold the fabric over the edges of the plywood base and staple it in place.
- Trim any excess fabric.
Your DIY bench cushion is now complete!
