Coyote Rollers Diy

Coyote rollers are a non-lethal way to deter coyotes from jumping over your fence. They are essentially PVC pipes that spin freely, making it difficult for coyotes to get a grip and climb over. To make a DIY coyote roller, you will need the following materials:

• PVC pipe (two different diameters, one slightly larger than the other)
• L-brackets
• Vinyl-coated cable
• Crimps/wire anchor locks
• Hacksaw
• Drill
• Safety glasses

Instructions:

1. Cut the PVC pipe to the desired lengths. A good rule of thumb is to use 4-5 foot sections.
2. Drill a hole in each end of the larger diameter PVC pipe. The hole should be large enough to fit the vinyl-coated cable through.
3. Thread the vinyl-coated cable through the holes in the larger diameter PVC pipe.
4. Secure the cable to one of the L-brackets with a crimp/wire anchor lock.
5. Slide the smaller diameter PVC pipe over the larger diameter PVC pipe.
6. Secure the cable to the other L-bracket with a crimp/wire anchor lock.
7. Attach the L-brackets to the top of your fence, making sure that the coyote roller is spinning freely.
