Diy Glass Etching

To DIY glass etching, you will need:

• Glassware
• Etching cream
• Stencil (optional)
• Masking tape (optional)
• Paintbrush
• Gloves
• Safety glasses

Instructions:

1. Clean the glassware thoroughly with soap and water. Remove any fingerprints or smudges with rubbing alcohol.
2. Apply the stencil to the glassware, if desired. Use masking tape to secure the stencil in place.
3. Apply a thick layer of etching cream to the stencil using a paintbrush. Be careful not to get any etching cream on the glass that you don’t want to be etched.
4. Allow the etching cream to sit on the glass for the amount of time specified on the product label.
5. Rinse the etching cream off the glass with water.
6. Remove the stencil and masking tape.
7. Wash the glassware again with soap and water.
8. Enjoy your etched glassware!

Tips:

• Work in a well-ventilated area.
• Wear gloves and safety glasses to protect yourself from the etching cream.
• If you are using a stencil, make sure that it is firmly attached to the glass so that no etching cream can bleed under the edges.
