Diy Bean Bag Toss

To make a DIY bean bag toss game, you will need:

• 2 pieces of plywood (24" x 48" and 1/2" thick)
• 4 pieces of 2×4 lumber (two 21" pieces and two 48" pieces)
• 1 piece of 1/4" mesh fabric (larger than your plywood boards)
• 10 medium-length rivets
• 10 rivet washers
• Wood glue
• 2 hinges
• Wood putty
• Exterior-grade paint
• Sandpaper
• Saw
• Drill
• Measuring tape
• Pencil
• Scissors
• Sewing machine or no-sew tape
• Beanbag filling (such as dried beans, rice, or corn)

Instructions:

1. Cut the plywood boards to size.
2. Build a rectangular box with the 2×4 lumber. The 21" pieces should be inside the 48" pieces.
3. Attach the mesh fabric to the top of the box using rivets.
4. Attach the hinges to the top of the box so that it can fold in half.
5. Fill the beanbags with beanbag filling.
6. Paint the box and beanbags as desired.

Once your game is complete, you can play by standing facing your opponent and tossing the beanbags at their board. The goal is to land the beanbag in the hole or on the board. If you land the beanbag in the hole, you earn 3 points. If you land the beanbag on the board, you earn 1 point. The first player to reach 21 points wins.

Tips:

• Use a level to make sure that your box is level before attaching the mesh fabric.
• If you are using a sewing machine to sew the beanbags, be sure to use a heavy-duty needle and thread.
• You can use any type of beanbag filling that you like. Dried beans, rice, and corn are all popular choices.
• If you want to make your game more challenging, you can make the holes smaller or place the boards further apart.
