Book safe DIY is a fun and easy way to create a secret hiding place for your valuables. All you need is an old book, a sharp knife, and some glue.

To make a book safe, first choose a book that you don’t mind cutting up. The book should be thick enough to have a secret compartment of reasonable size, but not so thick that it will be difficult to cut.

Once you have chosen a book, open it to the page where you want to start your secret compartment. Using a ruler and pencil, draw an outline of the compartment on the pages. The compartment can be any size or shape you want, but be sure to leave at least a half-inch border around the edges.

Carefully cut out the compartment with a sharp knife. Be careful not to cut yourself or damage the book spine. Once the compartment is cut out, remove the pages and debris from the book.

Now it’s time to glue the compartment back together. Apply glue to the inside edges of the compartment and the cut edges of the pages. Be careful not to get glue on the outsides of the pages, or your book will look suspicious.
