To make DIY mason jar solar lights, you will need:
- Mason jars
- Solar light lids
- Strong adhesive
- Wire hanger (optional)
Instructions:
- Remove the jar lid from the jar band.
- Glue the solar light inside the jar band.
- When the glue is dry, screw the band back on to the jar.
- If you want to add a hanger to create a lantern style solar light, wrap craft wire around the jar lid (under the lip) and create a loop as a handle.
Tips:
- You can use frosted glass spray paint to give your mason jars a softer glow.
- To make colored solar lights, cut out squares of tissue paper and tape them over the solar light before screwing the lid on.
- For a more rustic look, you can wrap twine around the base of the mason jar.
- Place your mason jar solar lights in a sunny spot so they can charge during the day.
