Diy Cornice Board

Diy Cornice Board

To make a DIY cornice board, you will need:

  • Foam board
  • Duct tape
  • Quilt batting
  • Fabric
  • Hot glue gun
  • Inexpensive curtain rod

Instructions:

  1. Measure your window and cut the foam board to size.
  2. Duct tape the frame together.
  3. Cover the board with quilt batting.
  4. Cut your fabric to size, leaving enough overlap to wrap around the board and cover the edges.
  5. Hot glue the fabric to the board, starting in the middle and working your way out.
  6. Once the fabric is glued in place, attach the curtain rod to the back of the board.
  7. Hang the cornice board above your window and enjoy!
