To make DIY disinfecting wipes, mix 2 cups distilled water, 1 cup isopropyl alcohol (at least 70% concentration), and 1 tablespoon Dawn dish soap. Pour the mixture into a resealable container with a paper towel roll inside. Let the paper towels soak for at least 2 minutes, then pull the middle paper towel roll out and throw away. The remaining paper towels are now ready to use as disinfecting wipes.
Optional: Add a few drops of tea tree oil to the mixture for a natural scent and additional disinfecting properties.
To use: Wipe down hard, non-porous surfaces with the disinfecting wipes, allowing the surface to air dry completely. Be sure to wear gloves when using disinfecting wipes, and avoid contact with eyes and mouth.
