Diy Tongue Scraper

To make a DIY tongue scraper, you will need:

• A piece of copper wire, about 10 inches long
• A dowel, about 1/2 inch in diameter and 6 inches long
• A drill
• A wire brush or steel wool

Instructions:

1. Flatten a portion of the copper wire, about 1 inch long, using a hammer or pliers.
2. Bend the copper wire into a "U" shape, with the flattened portion at the end.
3. Twist the ends of the copper wire together to form a handle stem.
4. Drill a hole in the center of the dowel, about 1/4 inch deep.
5. Insert the twisted wire ends into the hole in the dowel.
6. Secure the wire in the dowel by hammering the end of the dowel over the wire.

To use the tongue scraper, simply place the flattened end of the scraper at the back of your tongue and gently scrape forward. Be sure to rinse the scraper after each use.

Tips:

• You can also use a stainless steel spoon as a tongue scraper. Just be sure to use the back of the spoon, and not the bowl, to avoid scraping your tongue too hard.
• If you have sensitive gums, you may want to start by scraping your tongue once a day. You can gradually increase the frequency of scraping to twice a day, as tolerated.
