Nursing tanks are an essential part of a breastfeeding mother’s wardrobe. They provide easy access for nursing, while still keeping the mother covered and comfortable. DIY nursing tanks are a great way to save money and get the perfect fit.

To make a DIY nursing tank, you will need a tank top or t-shirt, fabric scissors, sewing needle and thread, and snaps or hooks and eyes.

First, cut a horizontal slit across the front of the tank top, just below the bust. Make sure the slit is long enough to allow for easy nursing, but not so long that it exposes too much skin.

Next, sew a snap or hook and eye to each side of the slit. This will allow the mother to open the tank top for nursing, and then close it back up afterwards.

Finally, hem the edges of the slit to prevent fraying.

That’s it! You now have a DIY nursing tank that is both comfortable and stylish.
