To make a DIY magnetic chalkboard, you will need:
- Galvanized sheet metal
- Thin plywood backing board
- Liquid nails
- Chalkboard paint
- Wood for the frame (optional)
- Wood stain or paint (optional)
- Screws to mount the chalkboard to the wall
Instructions:
- Cut the sheet metal to the desired size of your chalkboard.
- Glue the sheet metal to the plywood backing board using the liquid nails.
- Prime the sheet metal with a coat of chalkboard primer.

- Drill pilot holes through the wood frame and screw the chalkboard to the wall.
