DIY dog leash.
Materials:
- Nylon webbing strap (1 inch wide)
- Fabric (tightly woven cotton)
- Bolt snap
- Sewing needle and thread
- Scissors
Instructions:
- Cut the nylon webbing strap to length. A good rule of thumb is to make it about 5 feet long.
- Burn the ends of the strap with a lighter to prevent fraying.
- Cut the fabric about 3.75 inches wide and long enough to cover the length of the strap.
- Fold the fabric in half lengthwise and press the edges.
- Fold the fabric over the nylon webbing strap, with the folded edges meeting in the middle.
- Sew the fabric around the strap, leaving a small opening at one end.
- Turn the leash right side out and sew up the opening.
- Attach the bolt snap to the end of the leash.
Your DIY dog leash is now complete!
