To make a DIY elevated dog bed, you will need:
- PVC pipes (1.5 inches in diameter)
- PVC elbows (8 pieces)
- PVC tees (4 pieces)
- PVC caps (4 pieces)
- PVC glue
- Fabric (large enough to cover the top of the bed)
- Staple gun
- Staples
Instructions:
- Cut the PVC pipes into the following lengths:
- 4 legs: 12 inches each
- 2 long sides: the length of your desired bed
- 2 short sides: the width of your desired bed
- Assemble the frame of the bed using the PVC elbows and tees.
- Glue the PVC caps to the ends of the legs.
- Cut the fabric to size, leaving about 2 inches of extra fabric on all sides.
- Center the frame of the bed on the fabric and fold the extra fabric over the frame, stapling it in place.
- Turn the bed over and staple the bottom of the fabric to the frame.
Your DIY elevated dog bed is now complete!
