Diy Soda Blaster

DIY Soda Blaster is a simple device that uses compressed air to blast baking soda at a surface to clean it. This method is gentler than sandblasting and can be used on delicate surfaces, such as aluminum and car parts.

To make a DIY Soda Blaster, you will need:

A mason jar with a lid
A metal nipple with a 1/8" NPT thread
A 1/8" NPT tee
A 1/8" NPT coupling
A piece of 1/8" tubing
An air gun with a 1/8" NPT connector
Electrical tape
Baking soda

Instructions:

Screw the metal nipple into the lid of the mason jar.
Screw the 1/8" NPT tee onto the nipple.
Screw the 1/8" NPT coupling onto the other side of the tee.
Attach the piece of 1/8" tubing to the coupling.
Attach the air gun to the end of the tubing.
Fill the mason jar with baking soda.
Screw the lid on the mason jar.
Turn on the air compressor and adjust the pressure to 150 PSI.
Open the valve on the air gun and start blasting!

Wear eye protection and a respirator when using a Soda Blaster.
Be careful not to overfill the mason jar with baking soda, as this can cause the device to clog.
