DIY fabric paint can be made from a variety of household ingredients, such as acrylic paint, fabric medium, shaving cream, and white glue. To make a simple fabric paint, mix equal parts acrylic paint and fabric medium. For a thicker fabric paint, mix 3 parts shaving cream with 1 part regular school glue, then add acrylic paint to color. Apply the fabric paint to the fabric as desired and allow to dry thoroughly. Once the paint is dry, heat set it with a pressing cloth and dry iron.
