To make a simple DIY pet bed, you will need:
- Fabric (enough for the top, bottom, and sides of the bed)
- Sewing machine (optional)
- Needle and thread
- Stuffing (such as a pillow insert, shredded foam, or old blankets)
Instructions:
- Cut two pieces of fabric the same size for the top and bottom of the bed.
- Cut four pieces of fabric for the sides of the bed, each piece twice the length of the desired height of the bed.
- Sew the sides of the bed together, leaving one end open.
- Turn the bed inside out and insert the stuffing.
- Sew the top of the bed to the bottom of the bed, closing up the opening.
If you have a sewing machine, you can sew all of the seams of the bed. However, if you don’t have a sewing machine, you can also sew the seams by hand.
Once the bed is finished, you can place it in your pet’s favorite spot and watch them enjoy their new comfy bed!
