Diy Personalized Mugs

To make a DIY personalized mug, you will need:

• A plain mug
• Permanent adhesive vinyl (or Sharpie oil paint markers)
• Transfer tape
• Masking tape
• Weeding hook (optional)
• Applicator tool (optional)

Instructions:

1. Choose your mug design and cut out the vinyl using an electronic cutter (or draw the design on the mug using the Sharpie markers).
2. Weed the vinyl (remove the excess vinyl around the design) and apply transfer tape to the top of the design.
3. Position the design on the mug and remove the backing paper from the transfer tape.
4. Smooth the design onto the mug using the applicator tool.
5. Carefully remove the transfer tape.
6. If using Sharpie markers, bake the mug in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes to set the paint.

Tips:

• For a more professional look, use a heat gun to shrink the vinyl after applying it to the mug.
• To protect the design, apply a clear sealant (such as Mod Podge) to the mug.
• Be careful not to wash the mug in the dishwasher, as this could damage the design.
