Diy Alcohol Stove

Alcohol stoves are simple, lightweight, and efficient stoves that are perfect for camping, hiking, and other outdoor activities. They are also relatively inexpensive and easy to make yourself.

To make a DIY alcohol stove, you will need:

• Two aluminum cans
• A can opener
• Scissors
• A drill
• A file

1. Cut the bottoms off of both cans.
2. Use the scissors to cut a hole in the center of the top can. The hole should be large enough to fit a penny through.

4. File and sand the edges of the cans to remove any sharp burrs.
5. Apply a thin layer of epoxy to the rim of the top can.
6. Place the top can inside the bottom can, aligning the holes in the top can with the holes in the bottom can.
7. Apply epoxy to the outside of the seam where the two cans meet.
8. Allow the epoxy to cure completely.
9. Cut a piece of fiberglass rope long enough to wrap around the outside of the stove.
10. Secure the fiberglass rope to the stove with wire or metal mesh.

To use your DIY alcohol stove, simply fill the bottom can with alcohol and light the fuel. The alcohol will vaporize and ignite through the holes in the top can. Place your pot or kettle on top of the stove and cook away!
