Diy European Mount

A DIY European mount is a way to display the skull of an animal, such as a deer, elk, or sheep. It is a popular way to showcase a hunting trophy or to simply display a beautiful skull. To make a DIY European mount, you will need the following supplies:

• A skull with antlers
• A pot large enough to boil the skull
• Water
• 1/4 cup of liquid dish soap

Instructions:

1. Skin the head from the skull and remove the lower jaw.

3. Remove the skull from the water and use a knife and forceps to remove any remaining tissue from the skull.
4. Wrap the bases of the antlers in shrink wrap to protect them from being bleached.
5. Boil the skull in hydrogen peroxide for 30 minutes.
6. Remove the shrink wrap from the antlers and touch up any areas of the skull that are not white enough with hydrogen peroxide.
7. Stain the skull with dark wood stain and allow it to dry.
8. Attach the skull to a mounting board using screws or nails.
