Washers Game DIY
To make your own washers game, you will need the following materials:
- 2×4 lumber (cut to size)
- 1/2" plywood (cut to size)
- 4" PVC pipe (cut to size)
- Indoor/outdoor carpet (cut to size)
- Washers (spray painted for extra fun)
- Wood glue
- Screws
- Nails
- Tools (saw, drill, etc.)
Instructions:
- Cut the 2x4s and plywood to size.
- Assemble the sides of the boxes using wood glue and screws.
- Cut a hole in the center of each plywood piece for the PVC pipe.
- Attach the plywood pieces to the sides of the boxes using wood glue and nails.
- Cut the PVC pipe to size and insert it into the holes in the plywood pieces.
- Attach the carpet to the top of each box using wood glue and nails.
- Let the glue dry completely.
- Enjoy your new washers game!
To play, simply place the boxes opposite each other, about 21 feet apart. Each player takes turns tossing washers into the other box. If a washer goes into the PVC pipe, the player scores 3 points. If a washer lands in the box, the player scores 1 point. The first player to reach 21 points wins.
