DIY Sleep Mask

Materials:

• 2 pieces of fabric for the main mask and lining
• 1 piece of fusible fleece for interfacing
• Elastic band
• Sewing machine and basic sewing supplies

Instructions:

1. Cut out the mask pieces according to a pattern or your own design.
2. Fuse the interfacing to the back of the main mask piece.
3. Pin the main mask piece and lining piece right sides together and sew around the edges, leaving a small opening at the bottom.
4. Turn the mask right side out and press flat.
5. Sew the elastic band to the mask, one end at a time.
6. Close the opening at the bottom of the mask.

Tips:

• Choose a soft fabric for the main mask and lining that will be gentle on your skin.
• Use a fusible fleece interfacing to give the mask some structure and help it block out light.
• Cut the elastic band to a comfortable length. You can measure the circumference of your head and add a few inches to allow for a snug fit.
