Diy Tutu Skirt

To make a DIY tutu skirt, you will need:

• Tulle (1 roll per color, if desired)
• Elastic waistband (length of your waist minus 4 inches)
• Scissors
• Needle and thread (optional)

Instructions:

1. Cut the tulle into strips. The length of the strips will determine the length of your tutu. For a knee-length tutu, cut the strips to be 24 inches long. For a longer tutu, cut the strips longer.
2. Tie the tulle strips to the elastic waistband. To do this, fold the tulle strip in half and loop it around the elastic waistband. Then, pull the ends of the tulle strip through the loop and tighten. Repeat this process until the entire elastic waistband is covered with tulle strips.
3. If desired, sew the tulle strips to the elastic waistband to secure them. This is optional, but it will help to prevent the tulle strips from falling off.
4. Trim the ends of the tulle strips so that they are all the same length.
5. Fluff up the tutu and enjoy!

• For a fuller tutu, use more tulle strips.
• To create a rainbow tutu, use different colors of tulle.
• To add embellishments to your tutu, you can sew on sequins, beads, or other decorations.
