DIY Shrinky Dinks are a fun and easy craft for all ages. To make them, you will need a piece of #6 plastic, permanent markers, scissors, parchment paper, and a baking sheet.
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Draw or color your designs on the plastic using permanent markers. Cut out your designs, leaving space around the edges for shrinkage. If you plan to make a charm, punch a hole in your design before baking.
Arrange your plastic pieces on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Place the baking sheet in the oven and watch closely as your Shrinky Dinks shrink and curl. When they are flat and no longer curling, remove them from the oven and let them cool completely.
Your DIY Shrinky Dinks are now ready to be used as charms, jewelry, or simply as fun decorations.
