Diy Light Box

A DIY lightbox is a simple and inexpensive way to take professional-looking product or food photos. It is essentially a box with one side open, lined with white paper or poster board, and with windows cut into the other sides. The light from the windows diffuses evenly over the subject, resulting in soft, even lighting.

To make a DIY lightbox, you will need:

• A cardboard box
• White poster board or paper
• A box cutter
• Scissors

• Tracing paper or fabric

Instructions:

1. Cut out one side of the box completely. This will be the opening where you shoot into the lightbox.
2. Measure and cut out windows into the other sides of the box. The size of the windows will depend on the size of your box and the size of the objects you plan to photograph.
3. Line the inside of the box with white poster board or paper. This will create a white background for your photos.
4. Cut out pieces of tracing paper or fabric to cover the windows. The tracing paper or fabric will diffuse the light, resulting in softer, more even lighting.
5. Tape the tracing paper or fabric to the inside of the box, covering the windows.

Once your lightbox is complete, you are ready to start taking photos! Simply place your subject inside the lightbox and shoot through the opening. You can use a tripod to keep your camera steady, or you can hand-hold the camera. Experiment with different settings to find what works best for your photos.
